Anatolian Alevi festival

Every year, the Alevi Federation of Australia (AFA) hosts an annual Anatolian Alevi Festival called Abdal Musa Festival.

Abdal Musa

The festival is dedicated to Abdal Musa, one of the founders of our ancient philosophical ideologies: a belief system that encourages unity and peace among human beings.

Diversity of cultures

The annual festivals showcase great diversity of cultures that enrich our community.

Dance and music

 The festival features live music and dance programs, traditional art exhibitions, craft stalls, children’s activities, food stalls and lots more.

The festival is a display of cultures through music, dance, exhibitions and food.

The Alevi Federation of Australia (AFA) is the peak representing body for Alevi councils in Australia.

AFA acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and acknowledges their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the Elders past and present.
